The second point on the Mining Park Trail is the place where the first treatment of the material extracted from the mine was carried out.<\/p>

The metalliferous rock treatment plant was in this area where the cableway of the Sessa Gold Mine reached (see point 1). The tower that can still be seen was the trafostation. Next to this tower was a series of sheds in which the processing of the stones took place.<\/p>

The metal stones were crushed with a crusher and finely ground by a ball mill. The milled stone was placed in tanks containing water to which lime and turpentine were added. The sediment that accumulated at the bottom of the pools was the mineral concentrate that was then dried and analysed in the laboratory and put into containers for sale to the gold and other metal extracting industries. The house near the cantonal road up to Beredino was the site of the laboratory.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Sentiero del Parco Minerario 2 Lolina di Beredino Tutte le tappe Il secondo punto del Sentiero del Parco Minerario \u00e8 il luogo in cui si eseguiva il primo trattamento del materiale estratto dalla miniera. L\u2019impianto di trattamento delle rocce metallifere era situato in quest\u2019area dove giungeva la teleferica della Miniera d\u2019Oro di Sessa (vedi punto 1) La torre che si vede ancora era la stazione di trasformazione. Accanto a questa torre c\u2019era una serie di capannoni in cui avveniva la lavorazione delle pietre. Le pietre metallifere venivano frantumate con un frantoio e macinate finemente da un mulino a palle. Il macinato veniva messo in vasche contenenti acqua a cui si aggiungeva calce e trementina. Il sedimento che si accumulava sul fondo delle vasche era il concentrato di minerali che veniva poi essiccato e analizzato in laboratorio per poi essere messo in contenitori per la vendita all\u2019industrie di estrazione dell\u2019oro e di altri metalli. La casa che si trova vicino alla strada cantonale che sale a Beredino era la sede del laboratorio. 1. Miniera d'oro di Sessa3.
