Minera Sessa

Mining Park Trail

The third point on the Mining Park Trail is the small village of Beredino

Several buildings in this village are related to a medieval convent-like style. Some documents mention the existence of a convent.

Its location on a historic route connecting the south and north of the Alps confirms the importance of these settlements.

The original compact structure of this village was partly modified with the crossing of the road in the last century.

The Oratory of St. Roch bears witness to the pest plagues that affected these areas and certainly also have a relation to the passage of merchants and sometimes armies through this region.
